A road trip on beautiful roads with overnights in Austin, Shreveport, and Springfield concluded our trip.

Back in Austin

With a strong SW wind and a 42 mile NE route to Austin from San Marcos, our ride on a sunny 94 degree day was pleasant. I am at a Days Inn enjoying watching the Vikings lose to Green Bay.

San Marcos

Even though our 55 mile ride from San Antonio to San Marcos was on a sunny day that got into the 90s, it was not difficult with very mild hills and favorable winds. There was an unpleasant stretch on busy roads, but we also had some beautiful paths to bike on. It was a good biking day!
